Cinemark will Open a New 10-Screen Theater at McCreless Market
SAN ANTONIO, TX.- ...Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") will open a new 10-screen first-run Cinemark theatre complete with all stadium-seated auditoriums in San Antonio, TX, on Friday, October 3, 2008. The new Cinemark McCreless Market theatre will be located at 4224 S. New Braunfels Ave. located at Interstate 37 at South New Braunfels Ave.
San Antonio’s newest movie theatre will offer 10 auditoriums with digital sound, stadium seating, online ticketing, and concession stands providing candy, freshly popped popcorn, and Coca-Cola fountain drinks. Online ticketing available at www.cinemark.com will make it easy for patrons to purchase tickets in advance from the comfort of their home or office. Customers can then bypass lines at the box office and go directly to a kiosk outside the theatre lobby, where they may print their own tickets purchased online using a confirmation number given at the time of purchase. The kiosk also allows ticket purchases via a major credit card or Company gift card. In addition, online customers can sign up to receive weekly showtime emails directly from the Company by signing up for free at www.cinemark.com.

Several invitation-only pre-grand opening events are planned for Grand Opening week including a special charity event on Wednesday, October 1st. The invitation only evening will feature free movies and proceeds from the concession items sold that evening will benefit two local charities: The South Presa Community Center, and SCOOP, the Southeast Community Outreach for Older People. On Thursday evening, October 2nd, Cinemark will celebrate “Viva McCreless” with a special event featuring musical entertainment from the Mariachi Tecolote from Highlands High School, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and the screening of a new major Hollywood family film.
Grand Opening Day and Weekend giveaways include a free Cinemark grand opening T-shirt for customers who purchase a large fountain drink at the concession stand, while supplies last. The first 100 customers who purchase a ticket on Friday October 3rd through Sunday, October 5th will receive a free Cinemark “swag” bag filled with movie goodies from upcoming films. Several entertaining events will take place grand opening weekend including: Friday October 3rd Radio Disney will have a radio remote party where they will announce their latest contest, a costume from a major Hollywood film for giveaway, from 6:30-8:00 pm; Saturday, October 4th will feature Estereo Latino from 2-4 pm and Power 106 FM will have an Owner/Dog look-a-like contest from 6-8 pm with the grand prize winner receiving Free Movies For A Year; and on Sunday October 5th in celebration of the new Disney film release “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” the San Antonio Chihuahua Rescue Society will be at the theatre from 1-5 pm and KJ97 FM radio will have a radio remote and contest from 3-5 pm.
