AEM In SA Appoints Irene Keegan as Executive Director
SAN ANTONIO, TX. — In a recent meeting, the board of directors of the Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos unanimously approved the appointment of Irene Keegan as the Executive Director of this business organization. Keegan is responsible for the day to day management of the organization coordinating with the President and Vice President.
"Irene brings to Empresarios more than 17 years of experience in sales, marketing and management in the non- profit, travel & hospitality and other industries," said Alfonso Tomita, President of the Empresarios Mexicanos. Her work with both corporate and individual customers will greatly benefit our organization and enhance our relationships throughout Texas and Mexico.” Added Tomita: “Her management style brings a new dimension to our group. We are proud to have her on board.”
Prior to joining Empresarios, Irene worked as Central and South Texas Sales manager for Aeromexico, director of sales and events for Steak, Pasta & Vino, Inc., sales manager at Alamo Travel, Inc., customer service manager for Vitromex, Inc., and customer service representative for Mexicana Airlines. She attended the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos is a non-profit organization formed in 1997 with the support of the Consulate General of Mexico. The Association’s principal mission is to contribute to the professional and business development of its membership which in turn contributes the economic development of the San Antonio community.
