Gonzalez Files for Re-Election to Represent Texas’s 20 th Congressional District
SAN ANTONIO, TX . – Congressman Charlie Gonzalez (TX-20) issued the following statement after announcing he will seek re-election to represent Texas’s 20 th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.
Gonzalez, elected in 1998 as a successor to his father, the late Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez, currently sits on the Committees on Small Business, Energy and Commerce, and House Administration.
"I will again seek the privilege of serving the people of the 20th Congressional District of Texas, a privilege with a corresponding duty to serve with integrity, energy and fairness," said Congressman Gonzalez.
"The future of the 20th Congressional District is only as bright as the vision and talent of its people and elected officials.
By diversifying our national energy portfolio, expanding educational and research opportunities, and investing in our infrastructure, we’ll establish a strong foundation for prosperity across our city, our state, and our country.
