Sharing the Holiday Spirit
With the holiday season comes our annual hunger-relief program, Feast of Sharing. Feast of Sharing is an integral part of H-E-B’s ongoing commitment to improve the quality of life and combat hunger in the communities we serve.
Started in Laredo and Corpus Christi in 1988, the Feast of Sharing program brings together hundreds of H-E-B Partners and community volunteers each year to serve a nutritious holiday meal, with a generous helping of entertainment and friendship to thousands of individuals in communities across Texas and Mexico.
This year, we will host 28 Feast of Sharing dinners in 22 Texas cities, along with six ‘Posadas’ in Mexico. Our volunteers will prepare and serve more than 250,000 hot meals, with most meals prepared in our own H-E-B Mobile Kitchen.
