Public meetings set to discuss digital off-premise sign ordinance
The City’s Planning and Development Services Department is hosting four community meetings to discuss aspects of the 2007 pilot program digital off-premise sign ordinance. Topics include message timing, sign brightness, distance requirements and take down ratios.
Public comments on the previous ordinance will be considered as a new ordinance is proposed for consideration later in 2009. Meeting times and locations are as follows:
Monday, June 22, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Development & Business Services Center, 1901 S. Alamo, 2nd floor, Training Room A.
Wednesday, June 24, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cody Library, 11441 Vance Jackson.
Monday, June 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the McCreless Library, 1023 Ada Street.
Monday, July 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Memorial Library, 3222 Culebra.
