Welcomes New Mexican Consul

SAN ANTONIO, TX.–  Free Trade Alliance will welcome the new Consul General de Mexico, Armando Ortiz-Rocha, to San Antonio at its monthly “Mexico Group” breakfast on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in the University of the Incarnate Word International Center’s Main Dining Room at 4301 Broadway.

This is the Consul General’s second tour of duty in San Antonio and he will be welcomed by many familiar faces and friends.

The second Friday of each month Free Trade Alliance hosts the “Mexico Group” breakfast meeting for business people interested in issues relative to international trade and business in Texas and Mexico. An average of 30 and 50 local businessmen and women, university students and professors are in attendance.

The monthly Mexico Group series was initiated in 1987 as a forum to present, inform and discuss timely issues relating to U.S. – Mexico trade, business and economic development.

This group continues to be a primary nucleus of the San Antonio international business community and offers participants the opportunity to network and promote their business interests. The law firm of Cacheaux, Cavazos & Newton is a partner and monthly presenter of its "Mexico Report" at every meeting, sharing the latest information into the inner-governmental and legal workings of Mexico. 
 

This event is open to the public, however seating is limited. Registrations can be made at www.freetradealliance.org. Cost is $20 and can be paid online or at the door. The Consul General will be available for brief media interviews.
